MEET DR. TEOH
Dr. Constance Teoh DDS MS is a Board Certified Periodontist specializing in Periodontics and Dental Implants.
Education and Experience:
Dr. Teoh holds a Certificate in Periodontics from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York.
Dr. Teoh also earned her Master’s Degree in Periodontics from Columbia University, where she did extensive research on periodontal bacteria that impact the rest of the body beyond the mouth. She is a big advocate of comprehensive dental care that takes into consideration a patient’s holistic health, as periodontal conditions often have far-reaching effects on other health conditions from heart disease, diabetes, cancer and even pregnancy complications.
Prior to becoming a periodontal specialist, Dr. Teoh also worked many years as a general dentist, and always provides her patients a complete diagnosis and treatment plan that caters to their entire dental condition. An empathetic provider with a gentle nature, she puts her patients at ease with thorough explanations of any treatments they may require.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, she continually keeps up to date with advances in the field by attending courses that involve the latest technologies available.
Treatments Provided:
Dr. Teoh performs a wide range of procedures from management of severe periodontal disease, gum recession coverage, surgical extractions, bone grafts, laser surgery, implant surgery, amongst others. She is also a licensed sedation provider who is able to administer nitrous, oral and IV sedation to her patients during treatment for the most optimal patient experience.
